Yesterday, the Center for curative pedagogics held a traditional winter charity fair, which was visited by over 900 people. Glowing wooden houses and hearts from the workshop “The Artel of the blessed”, mugs, vases and stand under the hot from the workshop “Special ceramics”, stained-glass Christmas decorations – about thirty organizations have presented their Christmas and New Year handmade souvenirs.
Community “Paints of this world”, organized by the parents of the grown-up pupils of the CCP, participates in the fair for the second year. “Our integrative group meets in the Moscow zoo, – said the head of the community Anastasia Khandazhinskaya. – We get together and do some creative work – felting, decoupage, drawing, and bring the things we have created here, to the fair.”
While adults were choosing the gifts, the children went to the workshops. Under the guidance of teachers and volunteers they built space ships, airplanes and tractors from cubes, made dolls out of wool, made badges with their pictures and sculpted clay.
There was a buffet during the whole fair: CCP would like to thank a number of cafes, bakeries and people for the delicious food they have provided to us. Among them are Freiberger, “Dashiny pirozhki” and Darya Sonkina, the bakery Oui, mon General, and Natalia Dolgih, and the restaurant “45 parallel” and Yekaterina Vusatova!
As always, the teenage volunteers who greeted guests, worked in the cafeteria and handed out lottery tickets showed their best. “For me, the fair of CCP is, above all else, the meeting with friends,” – said 13-year-old Sasha Morgina. It is the third time for me to help at the fair, and two previous were as a volunteer at the CCP camp in Valdai”. The fair ended with a concert of the folk group “Lakota”.
We say thank you to all guests, partners and volunteers who helped us during this day! The fair managed to raise 327380 rubles, these funds will be allocated to the children’s projects of the CCP.
