Magic music for «special» childrenToday the Center was filled with truly magic music. We were visited by Alizbar himself with his enchanting Celtic harp. Alizbar is a founder and the mastermind behind «Ann’ Sannat» group which, translated from R.R. Tolkien’s Elvish language, means «fairytales mirrored in songs». Alizbar is a virtuoso harpist, besides he plays a dozen other instruments. |

The letter of Zhenya Aleksyeva’s motherThe operation was done by German surgeons in a clinic in Munster, and it was a great success! A recuperation period went along well too. As early as October 2010 Zhenya resumed her sessions at CCP and then at school. |

On February 28th the staff and friends of CCP were celebrating the grand opening of a new ‘therapeutic room‘It is a special premise for individual therapeutic sessions with autistic children. The room was not only repaired, but also equipped with all the furnishing and materials needed for the sessions. We were celebrating this remarkable and pleasant event together with our guests: long-time partners from ’Action for Russia’s Children‘ and the donor’s representatives. |

CCP president Anna Bitova and some employees of The Course of Life charity fund and Technological college # 21 have visited Sweden to see what kind of assistance people with disabilities — mainly autists — get there. |

On the 8th of February, 2011 two famous actors, Gerard Depardieu and Konstantin Khabensky made a visit to CCPThe legendary French actor turned out to be very outspoken, energetic and lively. The instant the enormous Gerard entered our little center he filled it with his powerful energy. ’Salut! And where are the children?‘ — He immediately asked. Gerard asked questions about the children receiving aid in the CCP, their problems, needs and how the professionals work with them. As soon as he got the major information, Gerard decidedly began his acquaintance with the Center. |

A charitable event to the benefit of our Center took place on February 4, 2011We are very happy to announce that the money raised during the evening amounts to 406,150 Roubles. These funds will allow 24 children with special needs to attend classes in our Center for the whole 3 spring months of year 2011. |

In the end of December New Year festivals took place at children’s groups of the Center for Curative PedagogicsThe festivals’ guests and participants were CCP students, their parents and siblings. There came Santa Claus into decorated playrooms of the Center! He did not propose any contests or riddles — the kids just plunged into the Christmas fairytale and not only witnessed, but shared its magic. |

Dyuimovochka — Our First Show This YearThose who roamed the ever busy CCP corridors yesterday could suddenly come across a may bug, or a ladybird, bump into a mouse or a mole, step aside making way for a toad, touch the wings of a moth or a swallow. Yesterday, December 12, at 4 p.m., CCP made a Dyuimovochka show based on the fairy tale by Andersen. The show director Yelena Morzhina said: ‘We have never staged such a difficult fairy tale before. It is not easy to stage a fairy tale done by a writer, but we have to grow‘. |
