Ivan Urgant and the “Life style” foundation held a charity auction in support of the Center for Curative Pedagogics (CCP) and the Blagosphere Center

On February 27, Ivan Urgant, a member of the Board of Trustees for the CCP, held the sixth annual charity auction in support of the CCP “Special Childhood” and Blagosphere’s educational programs. The auction was organized by the «Life style” foundation, established by Vladimir Smirnov, a businessman, sponsor and trustee of the CCP.

Funds provided by the auction will be used for programs for children with severe and multiple developmental disorders in the CСP, the summer integrative camp of the CCP in Valdai, as well as the expansion of various educational programs of the CCP in the new Blagosphere Center. The Blagosphere Center is a professional creative space for educational projects, it has its own media center, a conference hall, a co-working area, a library, etc. The Center is open for visiting or social events.

An early drawing by the Russian artist Konstantin Makovsky, which was presented as a lot by Irina Yasina, attracted the most public attention. Also, the public focused on the lot from the Tretyakov Gallery – an individual tour to the Zinaida Serebryakova exhibition. Zelphira Tregulova, the general director of the Tretyakov Gallery, promised to conduct the tour herself. In his turn, filmmaker Alexander Shein came up with an absolutely unique idea. As his lot, he suggested to make a short film for the buyer’s family archive, including a specially written scenario with the participation of Ivan Vyrypaev and other professionals.

As usual, private lots from celebrities stirred interest – ZENO watches from Yuri Bashmet, a Christian Dior bag from Natalia Vodianova, a silk scarf by TATYANA PARFIONOVA from Diana Vishneva. Chulpan Khamatova, introduced her lot as a “supply of spiritual food” in a video message to the guests. The lot she presented were tickets for three performances at the Sovremennik Theater and а book about the theater with its actors’ autographs. Anastasia Zavorotnyuk personally presented a lot from Linda Kristel and the Clinical Institute of Aesthetic Medicine – cosmeceutical bestsellers and a club card with a discount for all rejuvenation programs. However, the auction started traditionally with a lot from the CCP – a mirror made by graduates of the CCP now studying at Technological College No. 21.

And, of course, there was a surprise from the presenter Ivan Urgant. This year, he brought a tennis racket from Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina, who recently returned from the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro.

Ivan Urgant said, “Once, by a chance, thanks to my friend Anton Komolov, I happened to be the auction presenter, and now I am a member of the Board of Trustees. How can I reject the CCP? I really like this Center and I really like all the teachers. And it seems to me that this Center should be better, greater because then we all will be better and greater.”
